GRAN TURISMO 4: Prologue
The king of driving simulators is not likely to disappear any time soon (they're also making advances with each steady release, not flooding the market with too many titles like some soccer games). Spin out with both rally and road racing action as gleaming bodywork and sparkling metallic paint jobs flash across the screen. In the Arcade Mode you roar straight into things with cars like Nissans, Hondas, Subarus, Toyotas, Mitsubishis or Mazdas on tracks, circuits and locations like Tsukuba, New York, Grand Canyon, Fuji Speedway, Citta DiAria etc. With each gamer having their own style (from conventional to mindless and reckless), all have to adhere as crashing slaps a 10 second penalty on your ass. In order to enter the main body of this vast driving experience, as usual you need to go through the driving school qualifications of around two-dozen, entering the GT beast with knowledge and practical knowhow to ensure getting the best out of the driving experience. If you haven't encountered any previous Gran Turismo games, where have you been? If you have, then you know what you're in for.
