CHICKEN LITTLE
Even if you hadn't seen this digital animation movie, this PlayStation version of our unlikely little hero is filled with colourful fun. The 3D platform style captures the movie's character specific flavour with a similar sense of humour. Chicken Little's weapon and utility accessory is his yo-yo, which can be used to whack enemies, climb, swing & slide. With all of this, CL doesn't look like such a wuss after all. You collect nuts, maps and coins to fulfill a range of tasks (like buying a bottle of soda to blast your way into your school classroom after you missed your bus and got locked out). You have to foil bullies and even defend yourself against wind-up mechanical Chicken Little's. The climbing, jumping & running madness also get alternated by mini-games including Space Shooter, Saucer Smash, Pig Paddle, Drone Dash, Walker War and Super Speedway. Sure it's for the kids, but it's kinda irresistible and easy to play, the designers even giving our little feathery buddy an hilarious waddle when he runs.
