EVIL DEAD Regeneration
Evil Dead fans will be happy to find another avenue in which to encounter (and participate in) their favourite evil fighting macho man's demon splattering activities. Were talking about Ash, of course. If you haven't tried Fistful Of Boomstick yet, there's still more fun for you to be had. Evil Dead Regeneration replicates scenes from Sam Raimi's Evil Dead 2 where Ash was battered, beaten and terrorized by a bunch of evil spirits in the notorious log cabin. The tale is picked up after this incident with Ash thrown in a nuthouse. But an even nuttier doctor at the institute got his hands on the Book Of The Dead (which started all the trouble in the first place). The evil cycle is kick-started again, and the guy who has to clean things up? Yep, the Bruce Campbell voiced hero of all heroes. You start out with no weapons, but eventually work your way up from a pistol to your trusty chainsaw and sawed off shotgun. It can get a bit repetitive as you blast away, but the writers added a few fun narrative pieces and characters to divert the basic survival action theme. Still, it's a wild, bloody romp as you splatter your way through zombies and beasts. And what would it be without Ash/Campbell wisecracks?
