THE INCREDIBLES - Rise Of The Underminer
The digitally animated Incredibles movie was an explosive success. Here they extend the narrative of the film by continuing from the finale, extending the story and its super-hero characters further into the gaming realm. If you remember, the movie ended with the moleman Underminer erupting from the earth's crust in a gigantic drill-machine, Mr. Incredible and his family gearing up to kick his ass. Here they pick the ball up & run, almost without stopping. Without too much complicated mechanisms and tricks, this is a colourful slab of excitement. With both on the screen at the same time, the cool thing is the ability to play either Mr. Incredible (with his muscular prowess) or Frozone (with the ability to freeze things up and surf on his own ice path). You can jump between the two as you wish or in 2-player mode you can collaborate to whip the Underminer's ass together with his multitude of flame breathing mechanical contraptions and minions through 14 diverse levels. Extras include a Making-Of the game.
