HAWK'S AMERICAN WASTELAND If you consider yourself a skater and don't know the name Tony Hawk, you'll need a serious reassessment of your status. With several skating game titles behind his name (like the Pro-Boarder and Underground series), this one again incorporates a wild mix of sports, action, chaos and attitude (with a ripping soundtrack behind it). In Story Mode you enter as a rookie who just arrived in town - not only gearing up with a board, but also getting your look just right, from clothing and accessories to hair and tattoos (if you so choose). Systematically you rise to becoming a skate king with a wide range of areas and parks at your disposal. A cool addition is the inclusion of classic Hawk titles with a host of skating legends and wrecking balls. You can also build your own skate park.
