Exclusive to PlayStation 3, this captivating, dark and moody piece is a fantastic melding of highly advanced graphics and compelling, interactive storytelling.

In a rain soaked United States city, the Origami Killer is claiming the lives of young boys, murdering them by drowning, leaving his trademark behind.  The narrative slowly unfolds as you're introduced to the four characters you control in the game - all inextricably linked to the terror sweeping the city.  There is Ethan, an architect whose son had gone missing; Scott, a PI looking where the cops may not be focussing; Norman, an FBI agent utilizing high-tech equipment; and Madison, a photographer.  These individuals hold the key to solving this case. 

As the story propels, each one of these characters you access add a new dimension to both the experience and getting to the truth as they explore, hunt and investigate a wide range of city locations, with the clock ticking.  A multitude of choices are laid out for these characters in every situation (from basic household chores to violent confrontations), your decisions not to be taken lightly, as it will determine the outcome. 
Whether to avoid a situation or ignore a choice, react violently or intelligently - it all adds up.  The detail is great and ultra sensitive controls allow you to make extremely calculated moves.

Heavy Rain has emotion, action, adventure, puzzles and above all an engrossing cinematic feel, further enhanced by its soundtrack.  The fact that a French gaming company (Quantic Dream) developed this, adds that little bit more of an original touch.  

But now that you're salivating to get your hands on this one, unfortunately adult themes makes this killer of a game strictly for players 18 and older.
