TNA iMPACT! Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

The WWE is a dominating factor when it comes to professional wrestling, or “sports entertainment” as they like to call it.
Backyard wrestling rings aside, one of the more prominent and well supported wrestling federation contenders is the TNA – and inevitably, if something is action-packed (and profitable), it will get its own video game.

Midway took this on in full force, not sparing the tiniest of details. From the characters and their signature moves, appearances, skin texture, sweat patterns, outfits, stadiums, the ring, audience, lighting, pyrotechnics and more.
If you wonder what happened to some of your favourite wrestlers from the WWE, many of them defected here. In addition to the various Exhibition match options (from Ultimate X and Tag, to Free For All and Handicap matches), Story Mode places you in this crazy world (creating a wrestler with a vast choice of physical features, fighting style and outfits). You used to be the wrestler Suicide, but refused to take a dive at a championship match – so you get messed up and dumped in Mexico, awaking from a coma with a new face and amnesia – but with an urge to wrestle. So, you slowly move up through the ranks to reclaim your championship.

Extra features include training options, behind-the-scenes looks at the creation of the game, and more. And of course, the soundtrack has lots of Hard Rock and Metal music for added impact.
