CODED ARMS – Contagion
Military Ops games can be a blast, but also get repetitive when adhering to the same principles. It’s already a plus when it’s in a First Person Shooter format, but in the case of Coded Arms - Contagion, it’s not just wild shooting. As special agent (Major) Jacob Grant, you’re commanded by General Peter Clark on your various missions.
You get to use stealth as well as hacking skills where you can access restricted areas or reprogram remote weapons to target your enemy in stead (the hacking takes the shape of number matching, which can be a kick in the pants if you’re feeling numerically sluggish!). Across the 13 high impact levels you get a range of upgrades assisting in the success of your missions.
Up to seven on-line competitors can shoot it out as individuals or teams.
Weaponry include: Data Leech (converts damage inflicted on target into health for user) / grenades / Nova Generator (shoots highly destructive energy orbs) / rocket launcher / Gauss Rifle (pass through objects, but inflict damage on target) / Decoy Emitter / Pulse Rifle.
