EHRGEIZ

At first sight this beat-'em-up extravaganza doesn't seem like much, what with a Germanic name most people can't pronounce. On closer inspection it proves to be quite a fun little package.
Ehrgeiz is the ultimate trophy for which you battle it out - a colourful range of characters to choose from, including some from Final Fantasy VII! Besides hand-to-hand fighting, you can utilize weapons and special power moves. The multi level combat arenas also have boxes containing special power-ups. Your fighting areas are quite confined, be it on a Hong Kong rooftop or a train. The game is quite versatile, with an in depth RPG quest game added. An extra bonus includes four mini-games. Some weird but fun games like racing around a ring, beating up your opponent and try and beat him in a certain amount of laps; there is also a beach sport(!) game where you jump wooden stump hurdles on the beach and run for a flag stuck in the sand. Crazy! Another game works on the principle of Othello where you need to eliminate your opponent's highlighted blocks and gain more for yourself (also beating each other up in the process). Ehrgeiz is a versatile, fun action game that makes it harder to get bored with the same routines.

EVERYBODY's GOLF 2

If you've got the 1st Everyboy's Golf, it might not be necessary to purchase this one. If you don't, this could be a worthwhile time-waster. Slicing and putting with a range of comic strip characters on a bunch of golf courses is in fact a whole lot of fun.
