Robert

THE
BOURNE
CONSPIRACY
Robert
Ludlum’s
spy
novel
The
Bourne
Identity
was
a
big
hit
in
the
early
‘80s
(as
with
many
others).
In
the
2000s
the
tale
was
resurrected
into
an
adrenaline-filled
cinematic
franchise,
but
with
very
little
retained
from
the
original
story,
as
it
was
redeveloped
into
a
whole
new
phenomenon.
Jason
Bourne
is
a
man
who
cannot
remember
his
past,
but
soon
discovers
he
is
in
fact
a
highly
trained
CIA
secret
agent.
This
game
takes
the
player
through
a
similar
scenario
as
that
in
the
first
film,
with
the
action
livened
up
by
agents,
counter-agents,
assassins,
political
figures,
covert
operations
and
double-crossers.
Difficulty
levels
include
Trainee,
Agent
and
Assassin
modes,
the
skill
levels
adapted
and
your
opposition
less
or
more
intense.
As
your
mission
progresses
(and
transforms
in
focus),
you
collect
essential
passports,
weapons
and
ammunition.
Kicking
off
in
France,
you
partake
in
everything
from
stealth
operations,
and
hand-to-hand
combat,
to
shoot-outs,
and
car
chases
as
the
unfolding
story
progresses.
You
can
activate
your
“Bourne
Instinct”
which
indicates
locations
and
items
on
your
radar.
When
fighting
enemies
(with
violent
combos),
you
get
to
use
a
takedown
move
when
your
adrenaline
meter
is
at
a
specific
level,
really
kicking
ass.
The
action
is
impacting
and
energetic,
with
an
overall
atmospheric
cinematic
feel
–
the
graphics
effective.
One
needn’t
have
seen
the
movies
or
read
the
books
to
get
into
this,
merely
be
in
the
mood
for
some
entertaining
spy
action.
In
fact
never
having
been
exposed
to
the
Bourne
incarnations
will
make
this
and
even
more
fulfilling
experience.
You
won’t
see
the
mug
of
Matt
Damon
(who
played
Bourne
in
the
movies),
since
some
disagreements
led
to
his
likeness
not
being
used
–
the
new
nondescript
digital
version
of
Bourne
is
a
better
looking
guy
anyway!
