VIVA PINATA – Party Animals South Africans are not too familiar with the piñata practice, usually associated with Mexican culture. Colourful paper animals filled with sweets are suspended while blindfolded participants have to whack it with a stick to get to the goodies. Here the bizarre world of living piñatas comes to life with a range of characters participating in races, piñata whacking and sweet collection games. It seems ludicrous but can easily get kids and adults alike hooked and frantically gunning for it like they’re on a sugar-buzz! 4 / A - Paul Blom |
