With Jon Favreau, John Leguizamo, Scarlett Johansson, Emjay Anthony, Sofia Vergara, Dustin Hoffman, Oliver Platt, Robert Downey Jr., Bobby Cannavale

Written & Directed by Jon Favreau

A renowned chef at a popular restaurant is becoming bored with the sure-thing routine of cooking the same dishes people want and expect. The comfort zone gets shattered when he receives a scathing review from a high profile critic (after his planned innovative menu for this occasion is flipped back to the regular line-up on the restaurant owner’s insistence).
He flips and quits, not sure what to do.

He heads out to Florida with his ex-wife and their son, where he buys and fixes a beat up van, turning it into a food truck, making exciting street food (with one of his former kitchen team), and bonding with his son.

After several huge budget, big special FX Iron Man movies, Favreau has geared down substantially with this more intimate, straight forward story of passion and family.
And with food shows (and artisan food craft) extremely popular, I’m sure this will draw a large chunk of that audience.
