BLINK 182 - Dude Ranch
The existence of this (still) young band only came to most of the public’s
attention with their Enema Of State album, featuring super-hot
pornstar beauty Janine Lindemulder on the cover, spawning many a popunk
hit. Their brat-like punky attitude and silly sense of humour shine through
their songs and videos. This early recording (1997) sees them in an even
less mature but very excitable and energetic infant mode - spiked with
fuel to rush in & out of songs with catchy, simple little riffs and way
more speed than they now ascribe to. A fun, up-tempo album, whether you’re
into skateboards or not.
