HEINZ WINCKLER - Come Alive

While the young Mr
Winckler often exudes a wooden style and charisma resembling that of Michael Schumacher, he has progressed substantially from his Idols debut. Come Alive contains a dozen light and enjoyable, well selected pop tracks, each pretty much written by another team, from Heinz and Joe Niemand to Derek George & Bryan White. The prerequisite cover is that of Diane Warren's song used by Aerosmith on the Armageddon soundtrack, and closes the album with a more subdued version. This is a very accessible album with adequate production and a greater sense of maturity even when it still lingers around the soppy love song realm on many tracks.
