NORAH JONES - Feels Like Home (Deluxe Edition)

The hype of the meteoric rise of
Norah Jones has simmered down somewhat. Norah and her Handsome Band do what they do best. Her music is still a relaxing, tranquil blues and jazz tinged trip of languid sounds and moods. Norah & her gang don't try to make things complicated. You know what to expect - not a bad thing, as you know where to turn to if that is what you're looking for. Feels Like Home delivers a chilled out flow of lovely sounds. The material also include the Tom Waits penned The Long Way Home and Townes van Zandt's Be Here To Love Me. The closing track (Don't Miss You At All) incorporates elements form Duke Ellington's Melancholia. A country taste moseys on through with the legendary Dolly Parton supplying guest vocals on Creepin' In. And no, Ms. Jones hasn't trimmed her clothing to reveal more, nor has she turned her music artificial to appeal to the young brats to broaden the sales base. Thank God.
This special deluxe edition CD includes three bonus tracks plus an extra DVD with four live tracks (In The Morning, She, The Long Way Home & Creepin' In), two music videos (Sunrise and What Am I To Do?) plus an 18-minute interview with Norah.
