THE RIGHT STUFF Vol.2 - Various

This interesting mix of favourites is not strictly a dance oriented collection as expected. Yet, the rock tracks seem a bit tagged on, although they are ample enough not to seem that way. There are locals
Prime Circle's acousto-rock. The rock approach from Ohm get stepped up a bit as grups like Feeder, Double Drive and best sellers Nickelback crunch in. There is the trippy electronic pop of Moloko as well as popsters Liberty X. If you're not a radio listener a lot of it will seem foreign. You're also met by Leona's instant, disposable summer dance tune, MC Jig gets funky with the laboured Cha Cha move call, Danzel, Mel-Function, Nu's female led Disco Hurts an electronic rock buzzer, and Agoria's sleazy track. Lest we forget Timbaland with the inescapable and overexposed eternal guest, Missy Elliot. You also get the cross-cultural rhythms of Despina Vandi. LMC vs U2, with Take Me To The Clouds Above (the Irish rockstars' With Or Without You getting ripped). Tamara Dey appears on Capsalys' How Are Things. Million Dan delivers his Ragga flavoured rap-attack. There's a hollow produced track by Isaac James, Dutch groover Junkie XL offer a less hyped up mood, Vanilla Ninja and Seraphim Suite's Moby flavored electronic passage drift in another direction. With 23 tracks of popular songs, it seems as if there's something for everyone, with a few that may stick, many falling by the wayside.
