ZONDI's Romantic Ballads III

The third in the Romantic Ballads series from Metro FM's Eddie Zondi is not concerned about keeping it current. In stead the focus is on good songs with a longer shelf life than the fly by night hits.
Lionel Richie croons about his Ballerina Girl, Toto's vocalist proclaims that I'll Be Over You and Carl Anderson is convinced that My Love Will. Patti Austin, Peaches & Herb and Bebe & Cece Winans deliver some classic proclamations of love. The sullen tones of Black adds another dimension, with Chico deBarge, 702 and Nivea (with the R.Kelly penned Laundromat) also included. SA's first Popstars winners 101 do their Goodbye Song (wonder if Pam sang it when she killed her cats - did the SPCA ever get on her case?). Heather Headly, Christopher Williams, Rashaan Patterson, Brenda Russell and Boyz II Men fill out the rest of the line-up. A terrible choice if you've just broken up, but a good one if you're in the middle of a blissful romance.
