DISTURBED – Indestructible

Once Disturbed made waves with their debut album The Sickness (and its plug track, the very memorable Down With The Sickness), this led to three number one albums – not to be scoffed at. Their style has walked the Nu-Metal / Alternative Metal route quite comfortably over the last eight years or so, and while hardly pop, produce a far more accessible sound which will (and has) fit snugly in movie soundtracks. The cover art and war sounds of the opening cut seems more fitting for a band like Manowar, or an ‘80s Thrash Metal band, and does not offer the relentless barrage you may be expecting. In stead you get catchy hard tunes that are still a damn site better and more impacting than your average Emo band. If you like your Metal less heavy, Disturbed is your band.
