DRAGONFORCE – Inhuman Rampage

Fronted by South African born ZP, this UK based band once featured
V.O.D bassist Diccon Harper and members of Demoniac. With a firm footing in the classic and melodic metal genre, this Dragonforce offering delivers a string of high octane songs featuring lighting fast finger-work and leads on the guitars, and relentless drumbeats. To some, many of the tunes will sound like Iron Maiden on speed or Gary Moore meets Manowar, but with some prestigious Metal award nominations recently, the band seems set to make an impact. The clean, melodic vocals can sometimes venture into cheesy lyrical terrain and even reach classic Metal Ballad heights, but that doesn’t matter as the predominant energy is prevalent enough to overshadow shortcomings like that.
