Many of the Wii system's games do not offer super-slick, hyper-realistic images when it comes to the graphics. From the first view you may be taken aback at its simplicity and sometimes basic cartoon-style look. But, with a game like Wii Sports Resort, the graphics are secondary to the realism of the gameplay, actions and the motion response placing you inside the action.
On purchasing this title, you also get the upgraded Motion Plus attachment which clicks into the base of your control - this new addition further enhances the system's replication of your movements, and with it your accuracy. And that's just what you need for this exciting game packed with a dozen disciplines from straightforward ball sports like golf, table tennis, basketball and bowling, to less obvious ones like archery, swordplay and frisbee. Even water- and air sports can be tackled.

While this is hardly a substitute for real outdoor sports, it makes for a good first step to get your ass off the couch!
