LIPS Number One Hits
It's time once again to get your Karaoke on!
This particular collection is dedicated to songs that hit #1 on the charts, but thankfully does not stick to a single genre (as that may have the party end in rebellion quicker than you think). It includes everything from the silly pop tunes, R&B drivel and rap tracks, to rock, and old school tunes from as far back as the '60s and the evergreen '80s.
The 40 tunes in this set pack varied rock flavours from Nickelback, Coldplay, Extreme, and Plain White T's, to Beck, One Republic, Tokio Hotel, and The Cardigans, with rap and hip-hop coming in the shape of 2Pac, LL Cool J, and MC Hammer.
The '80s era of the latter track expands to include Tears For Fears, Culture Club, Cutting Crew, Fine Young Cannibals and Pet Shop Boys.
Cheesy pop groups are not in short supply featuring Sugababes, Atomic Kitten, and Aqua, with legends like Blondie, Marvin Gaye, The Beach Boys, and Roy Orbison showing them how it should be done.
Then of course the usual mainstream suspects like Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, and Robbie Williams also turn up, with Roxette, Lady Gaga, Bob Sinclair, Mariah Carey and a load more in tow.
This is a fun, eclectic mix which will have at least a little bit of something for everyone when the friend circle's various musical tastes rear its multitude of horned heads.
For the tone-deaf amoung you, remember, the cordless X Box Lips microphones can be used for added percussive sounds and light shows. But of course, half the fun is not in doing one of your favourite songs well, but to belt out an ultra-crappy version of a tune you hate!
