With John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Carl Bernstein, Noam Chomskey, Mario Cuomo, Gordon Liddy, Ron Covic

Directed by David Leaf & John Scheinfeld

After the Beatles-split furor simmered somewhat, the most outspoken of the Fab Four head to the U.S. of A with his wife Yoko. During the Vietnam War and Nixon’s presidency, John Lennon made a point of speaking his mind on dire state of affairs – much to the dismay of the administration. Filled with Lennon tunes, this enlightening documentary reminds us of Lennon’s impact, and how the U.S. government tried to make things difficult for this cultural hero, cut down in his prime.
