12 HOURS TO LIVE

With Ione Skye, Kevin Durand, Brittney Wilson, Kim Coates, Michael Moriarty

Directed by George Mendeluk

Ione Skye made her big screen debut in
River’s Edge (with a young Keeanu Reeves) but never really elevated to super star status (not like that’s what she’s after). In this thriller (which can easily be a TV movie), she plays an FBI agent on the trail of a bank robber who killed her partner. She tracks him while on leave and catches up with him in a small town where he hi-jacked a car and kidnapped a girl. His victim happens to have a diabetic problem and besides the race to save her from the bad man, she could die if she doesn’t get her medication, even if he doesn’t harm her. With flack coming from her superior, she is determined to get the guy and protect the girl.
