the

African
cinema
tradition
is moving
into
genres
other
than
serious
socio-politically
motivated
dramas
and
slapstick
comedy.
This
Afrikaans
comedy
leans
towards
the
American
Pie
high
school
hormone
trend.
A nerd
is turned
into
a rugby
playing
jock
by the
ex-girlfriend
of the
team’s
captain
(as
a revenge
plot
for
dumping
her).
Not
expecting
too
much,
this
was
actually
quite
a laugh
–
but
only
if you
understand
the
language
and
the
indigenous
South
African
pokes,
jabs
and
colloquialisms.
