HOT FUZZ

With Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Timothy Dalton, Bill Nighy
Directed by Edgar Wright

The team from TV’s
Spaced and the classic zombie spoof Shaun Of The Dead jumps back with an ingenious comedic British take on the American buddy-cop action movie. Pegg plays a super jacked London cop whose reputation and flawless arrest record is putting the rest of his department to shame. The solution? Send him as far away as possible to a small, pleasant, crime-free English town which is renowned for winning annual awards for just those reasons. Here his busts are limited to the most menial he could imagine, but soon brutal murders start to frequent this once quiet village. With his slob of a partner they get to the bottom of it with many laughs and hilarious replicated cliché action sequences. Wall-to-wall with great characters.
Not to be missed.
DVD extras are not as ample as that found on Shaun Of The Dead, but includes a fun audio commentary from Pegg & Wright, outtakes, trailers, storyboards and bits with alternate TV friendly, cuss-free inserts.
