Fans
of the
highly
popular
HBO
TV series
will
not
be disappointed
by this
big
screen
(possible)
epilogue
to the
foursome
of New
York
girls.
For
those
who
didn’t
catch
the
TV series
in full
(or
own
the
6 series
shoebox
packaged
DVD
set),
can
catch
up with
a swift
and
precise
rundown
in the
opening
credits
of the
girls
and
their
quest
for
love
in New
York,
with
its
disappointments,
triumphs,
laughter
and
tears.
Things
are
going
well
for
Carrie,
her
column
still
popular
and
having
written
several
books
on relationships
and
love
from
a modern
girl’s
perspective,
things
can
only
get
better.
She’s
finally
gearing
up to
leave
her
small
apartment
to move
into
a penthouse
bought
by her
man
Mr.
Big
–
which
leads
to the
next
logical
step
–
marriage.
But
it is
not
all
about
Carrie
as each
of the
foursome
have
their
own
dilemmas
to deal
with,
of course,
things
are
bound
not
to go
smoothly,
knocking
the
fun
and
frivolity
down
in the
dumps,
having
to climb
its
way
back
up with
an uncertain
outcome.
This
is a
highly
accomplished
movie
addition
to this
phenomenon
loaded
with
laughter
and
tears
- and
is not
reserved
for
the
ladies.
The
only
extra
on this
version
of the
disc
is a
director’s
commentary
track.
