This highly endearing comedy concentrated around a group of inhabitants of a trailer park may seem like it will deliver exactly what you'd expect from an American setting like this - however, while located in America, it is much further North of the United States... With all the Canadian clichés built into this story of petty criminals trying to make the big score, what you get is an hilarious tale of totally amiable cons that are about as harmless as one of the characters' many kittens. Based on the early-2000s documentary-style TV series, Ricky is the leader of this less-than-dangerous pack, a guy who would actually stay in jail just to beat the annoying guards at hockey(!). But back home (living in his car as his girlfriend kicked him out), the everyday grind is one made of schemes and dreams. With his gang, they come up with the most ridiculous robbery plots, which includes stealing change (due to it being untraceable - the weight notwithstanding!) - yet the bunch of numb-skulls can hardly get that right. But, Ricky also wants to do things right, marry his woman and get their young daughter to stop stealing barbecues and selling it at flea markets - but that's if the alcoholic trailer park administrator and strip club owner (where Ricky's girlfriend works) don't make things harder. This is a very different comedy with a range of very distinct characters finding themselves in ridiculous situations.

A pilot episode of the TV series, or a history of the characters from the small to the big screen would've been a nice addition - in stead you get squat in the extras department.
