david foster

With the success of his first Friends collection, naturally they'd continue the series with another one-night performance in Vegas. Here the people getting together to sing the songs in which (multiple Grammy-winner) David Foster had a hand in making global hits (be it producing, writing or co-writing them) again include a wide range of names.
The DVD show contains more performances than the CD, and will get more extended traction in the player than its less stacked audio counterpart. There's Kenny Loggins and Kenny G, Chaka Khan, Gary Wright, All-4-One, Natalie Cole and Ruben Studdard, The Canadian Tenors (from Foster's birth country), Michael Bolton, Earth Wind And Fire, Ne-Yo, Lara Fabian, Donna Summer, and of course Seal. All of these unique voices and artists give radiant life to these songs accompanied by Mr. Foster on piano with a full band (and him introducing the performers and giving background info on the music). There is also a behind-the-scenes look at the one night only event.
