Chester Bennington (Linkin Park's lead vocalist) has another band. The name of this new project provokes visions one would expect from horror movies, but the closest it comes to dark images (like that of vampires or the undead burning up in the sunlight) is the delivery of safe and commercially viable new-school rock for the Twilight generation. With six band members one would expect a far more explosive sound, but for the most part it comes across as a four-piece, nothing out of the ordinary or revolutionary coming form them. In its defense, except for Chester's voice, it is not a mere Linkin Park carbon copy and will go down well with the girls who prefer harder rock, but is set to provoke scorn from the Dimmu Borgir clan.
