DEEP GROOVE - Let’s Get Physical

The Deejays In Demand (DJID) banner feature’s South African DJ’s. Here it is Dave Friedmann aka
Deepgroove’s mix of electro tech funk house. He got his name in the mid-90s while playing underground warehouse parties in London. Some tracks are a bit more vacuous than others, but I won’t be stipulating at this juncture – but then again, it’s dance music, not quantum physics. Acts mixed on this selection include Sugar, Stretch Sylvester, Wonderland Ave., Roger d’Lux, Afrostatic x 3 (Deepgroove’s producer name), Audio Unit, Who’s Who, The Egg, and DJ Jose. Moonbotica’s Pretty Little Angel is one of the better tunes due to its sample. The selection includes 16 tracks. You also get biog on Deepgroove.
