Since his ground-breaking adaptation of 300, Zack Snyder's fusion of live action and a very stylized digital realm in a comic book universe has become well cemented as his trademark.

The mother of a young woman (Baby Doll) dies and her step father explodes when the inheritance goes to the two daughters. A fatal accident results in her being placed in an ominous mental institution with several other girls. Here reality and fantasy come to a serious head as her coping mechanisms take her into a different space. There she is faced with several tasks to complete in order to hatch an escape, roping in four of the other incarcerated girls (Sweet Pea, Rocket, Blondie and Amber). These take on the very diverse and action packed levels one finds in video games (of varied genres), each playing out like some of the most slick and highest budget music videos you've ever seen. Exhilarating, unique and pretty dark, the multi-dimensional genre-fusion of Sucker Punch cover many bases, but with one solitary goal, to blow the audience away.

Disappointingly a featurette is the only bonus content.
